Bakkt Launches Mobile App for Bitcoin (BTC) use

Bakkt has launched its mobile app, which allows its users to buy, sell and spend Bitcoin (BTC).

Bakkt, a cryptocurrency storage service, has released this app on both Android and iOS. In this way, an extremely large audience can be reached.

With this app launched by Bakkt, you can earn rewards, send cryptocurrencies to your friends and buy discounted gift cards. The app currently supports 200 different brands. Gavin Michael, the company's chief executive, said:

“While the average consumer has many digital assets, from gift cards to loyalty points to Bitcoin, they lack the tools to adequately track their value. As Bakkt, we are very happy to launch this app, which is the first step in our journey to expand digital asset access.”

Bakkt's main mission is to safely store Bitcoin. Bakkt has previously carried out a pilot application with Starbucks, allowing them to reload Starbucks cards and buy coffee with Bitcoin, albeit indirectly.
