Bitcoin Whales Moved Billion Dollars

Bitcoin whales moved billions of dollars worth of BTC as the leading cryptocurrency fell to $51,000.

Over the past 24 hours, crypto whales have moved over $ 2 billion of BTC. The two crypto whales each carried 3,000 BTC worth a total of $ 320.6 million in two separate transactions. Bitcoin Analysis tool Whale Alert first received information about the transactions that took place yesterday.

According to blockchain search engine Blockchair, the first whale sent 3,000 BTC worth $ 160.3 million to an unknown wallet that currently holds 10,000 BTC.

The second whale carried 3,000 BTC worth $ 160.3 million into a single wallet, according to blockchair. Receiver wallet, which has been active for three years, sent almost all 3,000 BTC through a series of transactions.

In addition to the two multi-million transactions, the whales also carried a total of 31,515 BTC worth $ 1.68 billion in the last 24 hours. Nine transactions shifted BTC between unknown wallets. Four transfers transferred BTC from crypto exchanges to unknown wallets, two transfers moved BTC from unknown wallets to crypto exchanges, and two transactions repositioned BTC between crypto exchanges.

1,150 BTC worth $ 61.9 million was transferred from Coinbase to Bitstamp.

1,067 BTC worth $ 56.7 million were transferred from OKEx to unknown purses.
