The world famous Time magazine will buy BTC and users will be able to subscribe to the magazine with BTC.
Time Magazine took the historic step of adopting bitcoin, as Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein announced on April 12. Sonnenshein was quoted by Time magazine as saying that there had been a number of attempts at Bitcoin.
Sonnenshein announced in a statement that time has partnered with Grayscale to release a series of educational cryptocurrency videos that will first be released this summer. However, time will keep Bitcoin as a reserve currency on its balance sheet, and thus MicroStrategy will join the giant companies such as Tesla that hold BTC as a reserve currency.
Keith Grossman, who has served as president of TIME since July 2019, will be paid with Bitcoin.
TIME magazine announced that they have hired a new CFO who knows Bitcoin closely, and after that they will accept payment in Bitcoin for Time subscriptions.
