Digital asset manager Grayscale has made a giant acquisition. The company has bought $ 1 billion worth of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), the official Twitter account announced.
The company, which had a total AUM of $ 45.1 billion yesterday, increased that amount to $ 46.1 billion within 24 hours, according to data shared on its Twitter account.
The company has recently invested heavily in cryptocurrencies such as Basic Attention Token (BAT), Chainlink (LINK), Livepeer (LPT). The company had also recently acquired Stellar (XLM), Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum Classic (etc).
There was also a significant development in relation to Grayscale this week. The company plans to turn its Bitcoin Trust product into an ETF based on Bitcoin.
